I've loved the drums for as long as I can remember. At three years old I was playing on pots and pans, and I took every chance I could to sit behind a real kit. When I was 11 I got my first drum kit, and I've been playing ever since, for world-class artists and bands all over the world.

I love teaching because I love seeing someone's passion ignite when they play, and I want to pass on everything I was taught.

For me, playing an instrument isn't just about reading music. It's about becoming one with the instrument. We build solid fundamentals first, then focus on helping you play with real confidence, without having to rely on sheet music.

I'm also the founder of Kent Music Academy.

Every lesson is built around the student: their goals, their favourite music and how they learn best. Beginners get a solid, enjoyable foundation. Returning and experienced players get focused work on technique, time-keeping, reading, style and confidence.
