Where lessons take place
All lessons take place at our teaching studio:
Kent Music Academy, Units 5 & 6 Montpelier Business Park, Dencora Way, Ashford, Kent TN23 4FG
Do I need my own drum kit?
Not to start. Many beginners start with a practice pad and a pair of sticks for practice at home. We're happy to advise on affordable kits, electronic kits for quieter practice, and what to buy (and what not to).
Hearing protection
Drums are loud. We don't provide ear defenders, so please bring your own.
Under-16s
A parent or guardian must stay at the studio (in the building or waiting area) for the whole lesson.
Accessibility
Please tell us about any access needs when you book, and we will do our best to make suitable arrangements.
