These terms apply when you create an account with, or book lessons from, Kent Music Academy ("we", "us"). Kent Music Academy is run by Isaiah Prince, trading as Kent Music Academy, Units 5 & 6 Montpelier Business Park, Dencora Way, Ashford, Kent TN23 4FG, United Kingdom. 1. Accounts
- Accounts may only be created by adults aged 18 or over.
- A parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account for any learner under 18. Children may not create accounts or make payments.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you give us.
2. Lessons and bookings
- Lessons are booked and paid for online. A booking is confirmed only when payment has been received, or when we confirm it to you in writing.
- Lesson lengths are 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The time you book includes setting up and packing away.

- If a lesson starts late because the learner arrives late, it will still finish at the booked time.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are payable in advance through our secure payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Kent Music Academy is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.
- Travel, studio hire or special arrangements may change the price. We will always agree any extra cost with you before you book.
4. Cancelling and rescheduling
Our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy forms part of these terms.
5. Your statutory rights
If you book online, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. By booking a lesson that takes place within 14 days, you ask us to start providing the service within that period. If you then cancel within the cancellation period, our Cancellation Policy applies to any lessons already delivered or within the notice window. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
6. Conduct and safety
- We expect respectful behaviour from learners, parents and tutors.
- Hearing protection is recommended for drum lessons. We do not provide ear defenders, so please bring your own.
- For learners under 18, please read our Safeguarding Policy, including what supervision is expected.
7. Our liability
We take reasonable care in providing lessons. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for loss of or damage to personal property unless caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you book applies to that booking.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
